Introducing Wing

 This is Wing:

Wing is Herreshoff Prudence (Design No. 71, also designated H23 or H-23) that I purchased in July of 2024.  She is on the hard in Gold River, Nova Scotia, Canada.  She is wooden and is in very good shape, only needing a few things fixed and a little standard maintenance before sailing.  I will be performing the necessary work this fall and winter and plan to get her in the water for the full 2025 season.

There is very little information to be found about the Herreshoff Prudence design online; it is very difficult to find pictures of them and there seem to be very few extant examples of the class.  I am hoping that this blog will make a small contribution towards rectifying this situation.  I intend to record some of the work I do on her and describe some of the adventures I hope to have with her over the next many years!
